Summer in Malta tells the story of Franka, an international language school executive, who travels to Valletta to introduce a modern learning system to Talk to Me, a local language school. However, she faces resistance from the school’s director, John, who prefers a more traditional approach to teaching and goes as far as manipulating tests to block her progress. Amid her challenges, Franka meets Till, a charismatic artisan, unaware of his hidden identity as a con man.
The comedy-drama was filmed at various iconic locations across Malta, including Cospicua, Vittoriosa, Valletta, Marsaxlokk, Mosta, Rabat, and Mellieħa, showcasing the country’s rich heritage and scenic beauty.
